Voluntary Teacher at Yuanfen Community, Shenzhen
Voluntary Service, Yuanfen Community 元芬社区, 2019
As a member of Fujia Shenzhen Lychee Program, one of the recognized CUHK I·CARE Social Service Projects, I organized weekly voluntary teaching sessions for about 40 children at the Children Services Center in Yuanfen, a migrant-worker community in Shenzhen. Here is a photo of us taken at the end of our last teaching.

I served as one of the six undergraduate teaching assistants for more than 270 sophomores taking BCHE2030 (Fundamentals of Biochemistry), a SLS core course. I held bi-weekly tutorials and Q&A sessions to enhance students’ understanding of concepts taught in lectures and offer them chances to practice and apply what they learnt.
